What a couple of posers! Even their tales go the same way, hehe.

Nice fotos but the Rheinfall is in Neuhausen (near Schaffhausen) and not in Rheinfelden.
Greetings from Schaffhausen Arianna
Tired Maiko-San in Kyoto

This photo comes with a story. Even though she posed for me and I have photos with her looking at the camera, this shows her feelings best.

As she tried to walk the 400 meters up to the temple, she was stopped by tourists (including me) every single meter and asked for a picture.

She may be able to hide behind her makeup, but her eyes give her real feelings away.

Looking at these scooter swarms brings back my memories of my visit to Taipei. Yep. Swams of scooters all over the place. That was my favorite part of walking around on the street. Equally amusing is the amounts of scooter PARKING in the form of double-wide sidewalks.

I just came back from Taiwan! Beautiful fun place, love the scooters and all the dodging of traffic! Will go back very soon!
This is a photo you might have seen before, it's in the Taroko Park (east part of Taiwan). The waterfall is coming out of the house or I better say the house is built over the waterfall, quite cute.

Location, location, location. But how do the residents sleep with all that water noise? And look at the scree slide on the right... I wonder how many rocks fall into their garden?!

Taroko Park is in Hualien, the east coast of Taiwan. It's the most beautiful place in Taiwan.
^_^ (That's where I spent my childhood.)

How about telling everyone that it is called Eternal Spring Shrine.

Taroko Gourge is amazing. The Golden Buddha further up the gourge is worth the trek. Swallow Gourge another nice chill spot

Yes it's posed, yes it's a snapshot. But you know, this really _is_ a good portrait of the contradiction that is Japan. The girls are pretty, the fashion unique, and I love the stone steps, the little lamps and the signs I can't read! Great shot.

The two girl looks sophicated with their fashion clothes and peace sign. Anyway the Japanses sign say: Design ( I can read Japanese )
From: Rei (Thu 24 Aug 2006 03:17:06 PM CEST)
NONE of the signs say "design". the three symbols on the black frame translates to temple of clear water. and the other signs only has meanings dealing with divination and temples. mermaid is just a smart aleck who can't read kanji for nuts.
From: meme (Thu 14 Sep 2006 07:24:11 AM CEST)
and those girls aren't giving any "peace" sign. it's merely considered 'cute'. everything is cute in japan. you show something quite silly and chances are a rather 'cute' girl will describe it as being 'kawaii' (cute). cute culture..you can't escape it.
